The 2015 BMT Tandem Nursing Conference will be providing current updates and evidence based practice to improve the quality of care for patients and families experiencing a BMT. This peripheral meeting being held during the 2015 BMT Tandem Meetings will address issues that are relevant to nurses and others caring for this patient population such as symptom management (pulmonary complication), indications for treatment (Myelofibrosis), patient and family issues (patient & family teaching, spirituality in the AYA population), systems related issues (Staff Let QI, Alternatives to inpatient TX, Distress Screening for CoC requirements) and much more. There will be many opportunities for networking and hearing what colleagues around the world are doing in practice through the oral abstract presentation and the roundtable sessions.
